东方艳丽---杨勇综合材料作品展
全副行头的京剧花旦，花样年华的旗袍美人，着盛装的少数民族少女，和服下的日本艺伎……女艺术家杨勇用剪刀创造了华彩多姿的东方艳丽形象。
女性的视觉和创造一定是亲近生活又充满梦幻的。杨勇剪取报纸杂志的彩色铜板纸部分，细细密密地拼贴起她的东方仕女，点缀以珍珠、水晶、珠链等女红材质，唯美、娇艳、柔顺、温润的东方女性形象栩栩如生地展现于观众眼前，色彩亮丽、层次分明的肌理，精彩优雅的服装设计效果，细腻丰富的人物描绘，个性鲜明突显于华彩画面；画面效果既展现出中国画的神韵和线条美，又表现出油画的厚重与质感；既有着工艺画的精致与细腻，又饱含现代抽象画元素的奔放与洒脱。
杨勇，女，出生于四川，现居上海。和所有女孩一样，少女时代怀揣着许多华服的梦，她曾经用国画素描等艺术方式表达，都难以表现她梦中的华美效果，杨勇探索着，尝试着，现在这几十幅精致的作品，终于能够还原杨勇的梦幻，超越现实的羁绊。

Beauty of the Orient---Yang Yong Multi-media Works Exhibition
Yang, a young female artist from Sichuan, uses scissors to create beautiful images of Asian women. Made from different kinds of colored paper, pearls and crystal, her images of minority woman and geishas in kimonos look exceptionally real and exceedingly delicate.

<黑白炼金术>-----朱敬一艺术作品展
黑与白阴阳相生，却又互为因果。在这些作品中，那些划破黑白的线条总是在集结和疏离的瞬间展现出最精妙的律动。这些瞬间在数码时代是否还具有异面同质的阐述可能呢？朱敬一一直迷恋着这个领域，也许我们很难用一种方式来界定这位新锐艺术家的作品，但毫无疑问，黑白炼金术隐喻着当代艺术的另一些可能：游离于西方涂鸦的脉络，并掌握着中国式图绘的精妙内蕴。我们惊叹于画面中暗含的睿智感怀——那些练达、绝伦的形式突围，中国文字的现代时效，撰写出了黑白绝色的当代浮世寓言。

The Alchemy in Black and White
Zhu JIng-Yi ‘s Art Exhibit
According to ancient Chinese Yin and Yang philosophy, Black and White are two opposing principles, but they interact as both cause and effect. In these works, the lines made from Black and White always show their marvelous dancing between being scattered and crowded. Can these works have any possibility in expounding on the illusory nature of the world in this digital era? It’s such a difficult thing to define Zhu Jing-Yi’s works - this young and talented artist always indulges in this particular area. But there’s no doubt that The Alchemy in Black and White will reveal another possibility of contemporary art – it’s wandering about the veins of western scrawl art, and knowing well about the fabulous details of Chinese painting. We are really surprising that the hidden wisdom and emotions in Zhu’s works – the succinct and excellent innovation in art form, the modern effectiveness of Chinese character… All of them, could be melted into a contemporary fable in Black and White.

Shanghai’s Bride---New Works Exhibition by Andreas Guibert
This new work presented at “The Room with a View” is part of a body of work in which snapshots interrelated with the craftsmanship of the traditional language of painting. Andreas like the immediacy of time based art plus the more elaborated “hand made” quality of traditional art media, a marriage of sort between the two medias. This work is mainly inspired by Shanghai cityscapes in an almost dreamlike quality that transpire in the juxtaposition of styles and historical periods that impose themselves over the people as they walk the city.

联合---支霎祺和卡罗.诺德罗的综合材料作品展
这些在上海顶层画廊展示的综合材料作品都是由两位艺术家共同创作的---中国女艺术家支霎祺和德国艺术家卡罗.诺德罗。
从2006年2月开始，卡罗.诺德罗的作品结合建筑图片，手写文字和人物轮廓用丙烯颜料作于纸上，通常用较小尺寸和套系，扫描并打印在大尺寸的油画布上。支霎祺以传统的中国画和书法，配以卡罗.诺德罗的画，以抽象拼贴画的形式表现于纸上；卡罗.诺德罗那些大尺寸的油画布作品将以中国式卷轴形式装裱，并配以支霎祺书法和中国画的创作，完成这些作品。
“他们是以相近的视觉感觉，创造出了令人惊叹的作品。结合了欧洲和亚洲的视角，他们互相配合，力求表现出游走于破坏到重生过程中的感觉。他们的抽象拼贴画，多媒体和意识流是非常有力量的，并且促使了东西方文化的融合。”（Cheryl Preston）

Combine---Exhibition of CarloSharkArt (Carlo Nordloh and Zhi Shaqi)
Carlo Nordloh´s work combining architectural drawings, handwriting and human figures in acrylics on paper, usually small sizes and in series, scanned and printed on canvas in large sizes.
Since February 2006, they worked together. Adding the traditional Chinese drawings and calligraphy of Zhi Shaqi with the Carlo Nordloh´s work in collages on paper and canvas. Also large prints, presented like Chinese roll up pictures, including original calligraphy.
“They collaborate with a similar sense of visual balance to create breath-taking works. Bending European and Asian perspectives, they create a synergy of expression that moves through the course of destruction into creation. Their works of collage, multi media and stream of consciousness are powerful and thought provoking filled with a marriage of west meets east.” (Cheryl Preston)

上海老房子新建筑---海石（Peter A. Reiser）的像素画风
建筑学博士海石Peter A. Reiser将他多年的建筑设计感觉以新锐的艺术表现技巧，赋予上海的老房子新建筑特别的艺术形貌。娴熟新颖的电脑技术处理，手工绘画的细节描摹，新锐的艺术感觉可能带给观者新的启迪。这种创新的方法海石称之为“像素画风”（或像素主义）。
海石是一位热爱中国、热爱上海并以中国大地为热土的德国画家，本次画展是他在全世界举办过的无数展览之一。

Pixelism--- Peter A. Reiser New Art Works Show
Pixelism by Hai Shi
Hai Shi, with familiar name Peter Alexander Reiser, was born 1946 in Munich/Germany. He studied at various universities at Munich, Darmstadt, Karlsruhe and Vienna: art, architecture, civil engineer. He participated exhibitions in Germany, Austria, Spain, Saudi Arabia and Shanghai.
The used technique in his works has been printing technique, Watercolor painting, oil painting and drawing. 2002 he found the possibility of digital configuration. He exited the possibility to improve, change and alienate realistic photos. He tries to guide the eye of the viewer as well as with painted pictures.

林宇定先生才高得馨，倍受尊敬，朋友们都称他“林大哥”。从多年拍摄的大量照片中，林宇定先生精心挑选了这组关于上海的黑白摄影作品，从南京路的外滩到人民广场，从苏州河的老弄堂到陆家嘴，从酒吧T台到商场……。林宇定先生镜头中的上海细节，定格了我们大家对上海各时代的记忆。

喜欢上海的理由---F3眼里的上海片断:蒋振雄，范生华，颜炳新三人摄影展
照片，只是工具罢了。然而，我们总是可以看到，在堆叠的照片里，有一些东西它要穿越时光的尘埃，与未来默然邂逅。尽管在邂逅之后，依然只是擦肩而过，并不留下我们期望的什么。但毕竟擦肩而过了，还奢望更多什么呢？
我们奢望永远，却不能自信永远。我们渴望完美，却从未达臻完美。一切都将过去，无论你如何频频回首；一切正在过去，尽管你如此痛心疾首。过去，我们无法确定能说些什么，但照片能够；今天，我们无法决定该挽留什么，但照片能够。面对这些照片，我们知道了“喜欢上海的理由。”
F3组合简介：
蒋振雄，男，1953年生于沪渎之岁末年尾，于摄影虽“潜龙勿用”而孜孜不倦。镜读城市历史老屋的深厚与温馨，常常碾转反侧不能自已。
范生华，男，广场摄影家。作品在《中国人本》里占有数席位置。钟情广场热爱广场，他爱在广场看见昨天今天和明天。
颜炳新，男，颜子后裔，入曲阜孔庙，颜氏家庙无需买门票，只要身份证。知天命后“老夫聊发少年狂。”专往让人无法不复归于婴儿的时尚里“探望”。
