展览简介: Taipei MOMA邀请了三位年轻艺术家以接力方式举办个展,在媒体无孔不入的现今,他们试图透过媒体反问自身存在的状况,特别强调观念与行为结合的可能性,透过各式各样录像与空间呈现手法,显现出另一种发生在录像中的行为创作样态,透过录像的先期纪录、编导与后期制作,呈现某种身体情境与语意,并配合现场空间装置将其意念完整展现,在表现方式上更趋活泼多元。 Introduction: Taipei MOMA Gallery invites three young artists for three successive solo exhibitions that will explore situations of their own existence through the media. The artists use video and installation to emphasis the possibility of combining concepts with performance in their work. The artists not only record and present a live event but they also utilize video editing techniques, such as slow motion, rewind, splicing and close-ups to represent a new visual language. Through the video postproduction, this creation can avoid interference from the outside environment allowing the artists freedom for experimentation.

2005/7/23(Sat.) 2 -3pm 姚瑞中新书《台湾行为艺术档案1978-2004》发表会 Yao Jui-Chung's New Book: Announcement 姚瑞中一九六九年生于台湾台北,一九九四年毕业于国立艺术学院美术系理论组。曾代表台湾参加一九九七年威尼斯双年展及许多国际大展,作品由台北市立美术馆、高雄市立美术馆及国立台湾美术馆及许多私人单位典藏。姚瑞中目前为专业艺术家、艺评家及策展人,艺评文章散见各中文艺术专业期刊,重要著作有「台湾装置艺术1991-2001」、「台湾当代摄影新潮流Since 1999」、「台湾废墟迷走」、「台湾行为艺术状况」等书。主要策展有「非常不『庙』之漫画一代」(2002)、「群魔乱舞-台湾当代素描展」(2002)、「梦2002」(2002)、「酷毙了Be Cool」(2002)、「幻影天堂-台湾当代摄影新潮流」(2002)、「金刚不坏-台湾当代行为艺术录像展」(2003)、「出神入画-华人当代摄影展」(2004)。 Yao Jui-Chung is an artist, critic and curator. He was born in Taipei, Taiwan in 1969 and graduated from The National Institute of Art with a degree in Art Theory (1994). Yao represented Taiwan in 'Facing to Faces – Taiwan' at the Venice Biennale (1997). He also participated in numerous other large international exhibitions. His essays have been published in many specialist publications. He also published books: Installation Art in Taiwan since 1991-2001(2002), The New Wave of Contemporary Taiwan Photography Since 1999(2003) and Ream the Ruins of Taiwan (2004) . 专长为摄影、装置及艺术理论,其作品涉猎层面广泛,主要探讨人类一种荒谬处境,其代表作品为「行动三部曲」,包括探讨台湾主体性问题的「本土占领行动」(1994)、颠覆中国近代史政治神话的「反攻大陆行动」(1997)及探讨后殖民主义的「天下为公行动」(1997~2000),与「行动三部曲外一章」的「万里长征行动之乾坤大挪移」(2002)。近年来作品则以摄影装置手法,以「金碧山水」的风格结合台湾民间充斥的怪力乱神现象,呈现台湾特有的一种虚假、疏离的「冷现实」,代表作品为《兽身供养》(2000)、《野蛮圣境》(2000)及《天堂变》(2001)等系列;与另一个以银箔结合摄影装置的系列作品《死之欲》(2002)、《地狱颂》(2003),探讨肉体与灵魂间的永恒议题。 His work focuses on photography, installation art and art theory. He paid special attention to the absurdity of the human plight, as he said The historical destiny of humanity has a certain incurable absurdity. His representative works include his Action Series which looked into the subjective problems of Taiwan, Military take over(1994), subverts the modern Chinese political myths in Recovering Mainland China (1997), and he checked the post-colonialism in The World is for All (1997-2000). At present he is investigating the use of the image in China's Long March. In recent years he has created photographic installations, dazzling landscapes which combined the random beliefs and strange energy that permeate Taiwanese folklore and expressed a falsity and superficiality, a 'cold reality' of Taiwan. Representative works include the series of works: Celestial Barbarians(2000), Savage Paradise (2000) and Heaven (2001). |

高俊宏一九七三年生于台湾台北,二零零五年毕业于国立台北艺术大学美术系研究所。高俊宏于一九九八年参加皇冠艺文中心举行的毕声共鸣联展「再会!从此离去」,一九九九至二零零零年于台北三芝、南投及太平洋发表「泡沫的消失(1)陆域」及「泡沫的消失(2)海域」。二零零三年发表新作「阿普瑞逊-伞」外伞顶洲,二零零四年于台北国际艺术村发表新书「Bubble Love」,二零零五年参加由台北、高雄市立美术馆联合举行的国际行为交流展「搞关系!? 台湾中国当代行为艺术相遇」。 Kao Jun-Hon was born in Taipei, Taiwan in 1973 and graduated from the Taipei National University of The Arts in 2005. Kao had a joint exhibition Good-Bye ! Away I Go at the Crown Culture Center in 1998. From 1999 to 2000, he made public performances "Bubble I –the land" and "Bubble II - the ocean " in Sanzhi, Taipei and the Pacific Ocean. In 2003, he finished the work "Operation-Shit." He also published a book "Bubble Love" in 2004. He participated in the"Taiwan- China Performance Art Meeting" at the Taipei and Kaohsiung Fine Arts Museums in 2005. 这个作品里交织着两段旅程的回忆,一段是漫游德国的经历,一段是回台湾以后宜兰漫游的经历,都是漫游,但当此一漫游化身为影像经验之后,主体被毫无原由地搁置在外,犹如漫游发生的当下,我一样被拒斥于某种绝对距离之外,但我惯常于如此……旅行—作品—回忆—消耗……于是我称生命之为:某种主体匮乏的经济学。 This work includes two parts: one is a trip to Germany, another one is a trip to I-lan,Taiwan. When Kao returned from Germany, these trips incarnated as the image experience, resulting in a kind of economics the artist terms: The destitution of the subject. |

郑诗隽 一九七九年生于台湾台北,二零零三年毕业于国立台北艺术大学。郑诗隽于二零零四年参加「台湾- 亚洲行为艺术交流展」及二零零五年由台北、高雄市立美术馆联合举行的国际行为交流展「搞关系!? 台湾中国当代行为艺术相遇」。 Cheng Shih-Chung was born in Taipei, Taiwan in 1979, and graduated from the Taipei National University of the Arts in 2003. Cheng Shih-Chung participated in the 2004"Taiwan- Asia Performance Art Meeting" and the 2005"Taiwan- China Performance Art Meeting" at the Taipei and Kaohsiung Fine Arts Museums. 「幸福是寓言,悲剧是故事」这世间充斥着无数的悲剧与莫名的空欢喜!异化、扭曲、形变的框架底下,无知的人们却渴望着奢侈的解脱!但不知生命仅能任其燃烧,而永无出口…。幸福、甜美、灿烂、虔诚、平静与解脱(姑且肯定它的暂时性存在吧)…,所有的过程无不指向同一个结果-永无止境的黑洞。 Happiness is only fictional; tragedy is reality. This world is full of countless tragedies and failed expectations. Ignorant of the framework of alienation, distortion and deformation under which they are living, people still dream for unattainable freedom and relief from life without knowing that life can only be left consumed without any way out…. Happiness, sweetness, glamour, piety, peacefulness and relief (if there is any)… all these only lead to the same result—a black hole without limits. |

苏汇宇一九七六年生于台湾台北,二零零二年毕业于国立台北艺术大学美术系研究所。苏汇宇于一九九九年参加于台北市立美术馆举行的「二二八美展 – 历史现场与图像」,二零零二年他的作品展出于台北华山艺文特区的「CO2前卫文件艺术展」,二零零五年参加于台北当代美术馆举行的「平行输入 – 前黑客艺术」及台北、高雄市立美术馆联合举行的国际行为交流展「搞关系!? 台湾中国当代行为艺术相遇」。 Su Hue-Yu was born in Taipei, Taiwan in 1976, and graduated from the Taipei National University of the Arts in 2002. Su Hue-Yu participated in the 1999"228 Memorial Exhibition – Historical Scene and Image" at the Taipei Fine Arts Museum. In 2002, Su took part in the exhibition entitled"CO2 – Taiwan Avant-garde Documenta" in Huashan Arts District, Taipei. In 2005, he participated in the"Pseudo Hacker's Art in Parallel Zone" at Taipei MOCA and the"Taiwan- China Performance Art Meeting" at the Taipei and Kaohsiung Fine Arts Museums. 作品主轴锁定在关于影像史之中的「虚构成分」,以「电视」的符号作为展出元素,企图让观者更能意识到「屏幕」与通俗影音的存在,而回路化手法也是此一系列作品一大特色;透过回路的反复播放、通俗剧的对话与配乐,被扭转成另一种型态的「噪音」,将是一种奇异的聆听经验。 The work explores the fakeness in the history of the image. TV is an element or symbol of the exhibition in an intention to make the audience realize the existence and the fakeness of the 'screen' to the reality. Through continuously playing soap operas, conversation and background music were turned into a special kind of noise. |
