就在外部世界如火如荼的同时，五位以内心历险为首要母题的艺术家怀揣着暗自隐藏的热情聚到了一起：2个调拨电音，1个掌控声线，1个用肢体说话，1个进行语言的非常规表达。

为了崇高也有点鬼祟的理念，他们准备把乐人自身的形象遮蔽起来，隐匿到光线和阴影的间隙，以此凸显声音带来的意义。舞台仍旧奇异而充盈，飞鸟和鸣虫也将参与演出，植物也会充任配角。Olivier Palai和Manels的电音与法国默剧大师Philippe Bizot的演出将即兴配合，如同置自己于心理诊所那样，把自身乃至人类的情感变迁揭示在观众面前。绝无仅有的道具和装备将被安装在Bizot身上，令他不说话也能发出思考的声音。这很可能是历史上默剧与实验音乐的首次互动，令经典和另类的双方都无比期待。而地下音乐重量级人物颜峻将把他的诗性语言解析和重构，并以数码方式投射和散布，让你从另外的角度进入诗境。

艺术家介绍

欧立维埃·巴莱（Olivier Palai）

道家风范的打击乐手，单家独院的即兴音乐艺术家。1967年生于法国。曾在中国策划并演出过“Funny Shanghai”，“Art Cabaret”，“橄榄树下的澡盆”，“旅行去火星”等演出活动。此次使用：电脑、水鼓、卡斯卡斯、小号、音叉、笛子、扁担、笤帚……

马诺斯（Manels）

纯洁又诡异的电音行家，戏剧化曲样的创作者，吉他手。原名Emmanuel Favre，1973年出生于比利时布鲁塞尔。4岁时进入布鲁塞尔皇家科学院学习小提琴，10岁开始作曲。后于普瓦捷音乐学院和图卢兹音乐学院研修钢琴和乐理。是前Dora组合(在法国以其独特美学闻名的乐队)的吉他手、合成器演奏者。也给电影和戏剧配乐。

卡若琳·尚匹（Caroline Champy）

人声艺术家，前Dora组合主唱。1978年出生于法国西部的Guerande,99年毕业于普瓦捷音乐学院。曾于图卢兹音乐学院学习歌剧，并在2003获得金奖。但在经典素养以外，她更潜心于把人声当作乐器的实验音乐。听过她演出的人方意识到，原来人声有那么多嬗变和雕塑的可能性，蕴藏着多少后知后觉的天然力量。

菲利普·比佐（Philippe Bizot）

法国默剧大师，多个默剧学院的创始人。八岁起开始抵触语言，改用肢体和图像来思考和表达。1974年起开始默剧生涯，现被公认为世界第一流的默剧表演艺术家。其代表作《三十年之静》以其幽远和柔和在07年智利国际默剧节上获得头奖。05年曾于莫干山路50号与昆剧进行合作，感染了许多中国观众。“是聋子教会我说话，瞎子教会我倾听；我的语言，是用眼神去低语”。他认为是一种“静”，一种超越了日常用语的言语艺术，为他开启了所有的门。同时，比佐也是一位极富水准的细密画家。

颜峻

诗人，声音工作者，即兴演奏者。作为乐评人和独立音乐/艺术活动策划人，在中国地下/独立文化场景中活跃多年。1973年生于兰州，毕业于西北师范大学中文系。Sub Jam（铁托）和观音（KwanYin）厂牌创办者，自由即兴组织“铁观音”、“背信弃义的双鱼座人”发起者。现居于北京，主持实验音乐和声音艺术系列活动“水陆观音”。

As the external world develops itself in an amazing way, 5 artists who hold the “inner travel” as a major motive, have met each other with their secret enthusiasm. Two of them take care of the electro improvisation, 1 in charge of vocal, 1 plays mime, the last one is used to alternative method of language communication.

In order to have an ideal effect, the musicians are going to hide themselves a little bit between shadows and light, to let the sound stand out for the listeners. The stage is nevertheless special and rich, birds and insects will play their own roles, plants will take their part too. The musicians Olivier Palai and Manels are going to improvise with the french mime master Philippe Bizot, to let emotions of mankind shown as if they put themselves in a psychology clinic. Unique and unprecedented equipments will be fixed on the mime’s body, so without speaking, he’s able to make sounds by his movements. Yan Jun is going to remix his poetic language, to allow the audience enter the poetic situation in a new way.

About artists

Olivier Palai

Taoist and percussionist, alternative improviser, born in France in 1967. Ever created and organized contemporary theatres like “Funny shanghai”, “Art Cabaret”, “Travel to Mars”, “Bassin Under Oliv Tree”etc. This time he’ll play: computer, water-drum, kasskass, trumpet, sound forks, flute, chinese shoulder pole, brushes...

Manels

Innocent and wizard electro improviser, theatric music composer, also a guitarist.Born in 1973 in Brussel, named Emmanuel Favre. He started playing violin in Royal Academia from 4 years old. Young at 10, he’s made his first composition. Later he studied piano and musicology at Poitiers Conservatory. He was the guitarist and synthesizer player of the band Dora (now dismissed), which was well-known in france of its unique aesthetics. Manels also creates background music for films and theaters.

Caroline Champy

Vocalist, the singer of the band Dora. She was born in 1978 in Guerande, France. In 1999 she graduated from the Poitiers Conservatory. She spent 3 years in Toulouse Conservatory studying opera, later she won the best golden prize from the college. Now she dedicates herself much to experimental music, employs her voice as an instrument. The people who have seen her performance, realize that human being’s voice can be managed and adjusted so amazingly, that a voice may release such a gradually-developping natual power.

Philippe Bizot

French mime master, founder of many panthomime colleges. He started to doubt the spoken language at 8 years old, and got used to think and express himself by body movements and images. He started his carrer in 1974, now accepted as a world-known first-class mime master. His work “the silence of 30 years” has won the best prize on the international mime festival in Chille in 2007, because of its unique sensative tones. He has performed with Chinese Kun Ju artists in 2005, his style impressed much audience. “It’s the deaf who teach me to speak, the blind who teach me to listen. And my language, is to croon with my eyesights”. He considers, it’s a special form of “silence”, a communicating art which goes far beyond the daily language, opens up all the doors. Bizot is also an excellent miniaturist.

Yan Jun

Poet, sound artist and electro improviser. Well known as music critic and event organizer in China’s indie music & sub-culture scene for years. Born in Lanzhou in 1973. BA in Chinese Language & Literature from China Northwest Normal University. Founder of Sub Jam and KwanYin labels. Founder of Tie Guan Yin (free-form electro-acoustic improvised project). Now lives in Beijing, runs the Waterland Kwanyin weekly event for experimental/improvised music and sound art.
